Pump Station No. 3 Bridge (Whitney Barataria Pump Station Bridge)| Engineering Projects
Meyer Engineers, Ltd.
completed the design, construction engineering and inspection services
for this project. Work included a 250-foot girder span bridge on
Engineers Road (Highway 3137), an approach roadway, utility
relocations, intake canal, detour road and coordination of utility
adjustments for Pump Station No. 3. The bridge consisted of 70-foot
pre-stressed type III concrete girder span bridges with associated
sheeting, guardrails, etc. Meyer representatives completed all close
out submittals and forms – and record drawings were accepted by DOTD.
The project was coordinated with DOTD District 02. This project was
constructed in anticipation of the Whitney Barataria Pump Station
Project.
Construction Cost: $3,500,000
