Westwego Water Treatment Project
Meyer Engineers, Ltd., completed the design of renovations and improvements and provided construction administration to the existing City of Westwego water treatment plant. Meyer provided design services to replace the existing water tank (pictured) with a new, 100' diameter, 1,000,000 gallon steel water storage tank. Meyer also replaced existing pumping infrastructure with two new self-priming, centrifugal transfer pumps which will provide water pressure and flow to the entire population of Westwego. Additionally, Meyer designed the installation of a new, 3,400 LF 12" waterline.
